Itoko Kuroba (黒羽 絃子 Kuroba Itoko) is the cousin of Yuni Kuroba who used to attend Monshiro Middle School.
Appearance[]
Itoko is a young girl with straight, shoulder-length brown hair that is half tied up with asymmetrical bangs and large pink eyes.
She is normally seen wearing a school uniform of some sort, though she has been shown in casual clothing.
Personality[]
Itoko is a cheerful young girl who isn't afraid to speak her mind.
Synopsis[]
On the day of Kimichika Haijima's transfer to Monshiro Middle School, Itoko is in Yuni Kuroba's class, talking about what they think the transfer student would be like.
Etymology[]
- The name Itoko means "string, cord, samisen music" (絃) (ito) and "child" (子) (ko).
- The Japanese word for "cousin" (いとこ) is also pronounced itoko, but is clearly written with different characters. Therefore, her name is a pun, and serves as the source of confusion during Yuni and Kimichika's talk during the first night of training camp in Episode 4.
- Itoko's surname Kuroba means "black" (黒) (kuro) and "feather" (羽) (ha/ba).
